It is vital that all our schools provide not only a strong academic program, but also a curriculum rich in the arts and with extracurricular activities.  Our students must learn using the 21st century skills of Collaboration, Creativity, Critical thinking and Communication.

I will work to ensure that teachers are provided the tools they need to be successful, continue our path of closing the achievement gap, and communicate with the community about our schools so that they are engaged in the decision making process.
